Tenute Dettori

Tenute Dettori is situated in the far northwestern corner of Sardinia, in the Romangia del Logudoro area — a "golden enclave" between Sassari and Castelsardo. Here, we meticulously preserve the traditions of the "Badde Nigolosu" vineyard, a historic terroir where Cannonau has been cultivated for centuries. At Tenute Dettori cultivates exclusively ancient Sardinian clones: Cannonau (including its historic variant Retagliadu Nieddu), Vermentino, Moscato di Sorso-Sennori. Rejecting chemicals, working in harmony with natural cycles. Minimal intervention winemaking: fermentation and aging only in concrete tanks, each individual vineyard (clos) produces a single wine (cru) expressing its unique character. At a time when few believed traditional Sardinian varieties could produce world-class wines, we were the first on the island to trust in terroir's power. The result? Wines that mirror Sardinia itself — rustic, honest, and sun-drenched.
