Salvetta

The Salvetti family’s land holdings have been traditionally farmed organically. Dario Salvetti acquired them in 1930, and until 2003, his sons continued working the vineyards. Later, a deep love for the vineyard prompted one of the Salvetti brothers, Giancarlo, to return to the estate, where he passionately revived organic winemaking rooted in the country’s history. Relying on local traditions, he adopted ancient viticultural and winemaking methods and reintroduced them into the production of white wines linked to Trentino, including the Nosiola variety, and even revived Vino Santo Trentino — a dessert wine produced by the company since the late 1700s and exported throughout Europe and Australia.
