Envinate

Envinate is one of the iconic figures in modern Spanish winemaking, forming a new chapter in the country’s history together with such projects as Comando G and Fedellos do Couto. The project is based on a talented team of enologists and agronomists. Alonso Torrente, José Ángel Martínez, Laura Ramos, and Roberto Santana met while studying at the Faculty of Enology at the University of Alicante. Their professional journey began with establishing a consulting company, which later evolved into their own winemaking production. The winery’s history dates back to 2008 when the team acquired their first vineyards in the Ribeira Sacra region. Today, Envinate not only owns its own plots but also actively works with leased territories. The company takes particular pride in the restored vineyards that were once abandoned but have been given new life thanks to the team’s efforts. Initially, wines were produced at the facilities of those wineries where Envinate specialists acted as consultants. This allowed the team to hone their skills and create their unique style, which is now recognizable worldwide.
