Domaine Nathalie Vigot

Domaine Nathalie Vigot can be called one of the most miniature gems in the crown of Burgundy. It is a microcosm of the great terroir of Vosne‑Romanée, where every square meter of land, every vine, and, of course, every bottle is produced with immense love and uncompromising dedication to quality. Nathalie Vigot founded her domaine starting small – just with vineyards in the Hautes‑Côtes de Nuits. For her, it was a path of self‑education and exploration, a way to find her feet in a world where tradition means everything. In 1999, she added a plot under the Bourgogne Grand Ordinaire appellation, and then, in 2004, a fateful event occurred – access to family vineyards in Vosne‑Romanée, including the famous Premier Cru "Les Petits Monts". Today, the total vineyard area of the domaine is just under one hectare (0.95 ha according to some sources). It is one of the smallest estates in Burgundy, allowing Nathalie to personally control every stage. The production and cellar are located in the very heart of the region – at 17 Rue de la Fontaine, 21700 Vosne‑Romanée. Nathalie is not a professional oenologist in the classical sense; she is self‑taught. But perhaps it is precisely this that allows her to create wines free from dogma and filled with soul. Her wines are described as incredibly delicate, gentle (“of great delicacy and gentleness”), reflecting her gentle character.
