The nose is very clean and immediately open, very fruity, with pronounced notes of red cherry and strawberry, hinting at a crisp wine. On the palate, a slight effervescence is noticeable upon opening—also very fruity, with the promised crunchy fruit from the aroma fully present: bright cherry, fresh, barely sweet fruit. Light-bodied with refreshing acidity. However, the finish is unexpectedly tightened by tannins that were not anticipated. They lend the wine character, length, and even an impression of depth.
