The palate fully matches the generosity of the aroma, but with an emphasis on structure and balance. Full-bodied, dense, muscular, with a firm and velvety texture. It has excellent structure, depth, and remarkable complexity. The lively, vibrant acidity provides freshness and balance, making the wine wonderfully drinkable. A creamy, unctuous texture with tones of cream, custard, and roasted nuts, framed by notes of red and dark fruits (plum, red berries, pear) and hints of ginger, clove, and honey. The finish is exceptionally long, persistent, and clean, with a sustained mineral echo and a characteristic saline note that is the hallmark of the chalky soils of Ambonnay.
