Weingut Bründlmayer

Weingut Bründlmayer is an outstanding winery in Austria, located in the Kamptal region. Founded in 1980 by Willi Bründlmayer, it quickly gained worldwide recognition thanks to its exquisite Chardonnay, which combines traditional Austrian fruitiness with a contemporary style. Today, Bründlmayer is one of the largest private producers in the country, and Willi Bründlmayer is recognized as Austria’s leading winemaker. His achievements have been marked by numerous awards: in 2009, he was named the best Austrian winemaker of the past 25 years, and experts have highly praised the quality of all the estate’s wines — from light whites to exquisite reds and sparkling wines. The 80-hectare vineyards are spread across the rocky slopes of the Kamp River valley. The favourable microclimate created by the wooded hills provides ideal conditions for the ripening of the grapes. The estate is managed by a professional team: Willi Bründlmayer, his wife Edvige, commercial director Thomas Klinger, and Andreas Wickhoff — one of the three Austrian Masters of Wine.
