Roses de Janne
Cédric Bouchard is a winemaker who founded the estate "Roses de Jeanne" in 2000. Originally named Inflorescence (from the French meaning "flower cluster"), it was renamed Roses de Jeanne in 2012 in honor of Cédric's Polish grandmother, Janika. Over more than 20 years, he has become one of the most revolutionary and uncompromising winemakers in Champagne, with his single-varietal cuvées made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Bian setting new standards in the Côte des Bar region.Growing up in a family of winemakers, Cédric inherited several old-vine plots from his parents. He also acquired new vineyards and continues to expand the estate, which today covers 4.3 hectares across different sites in Côte des Bar.His estate produces around 15,000 bottles annually, characterized by vibrant minerality, texture, clarity, and harmonious balance. Cédric Bouchard’s winemaking principles include low yields, harvesting grapes at full ripeness, and minimal intervention during fermentation to preserve the authenticity and expression of each vineyard.
