Podere Monastero
Podere Monastero is located in the heart of Tuscany – in the Castelnuovo Berardenga area of Chianti (Chianti Classico). The estate was founded in 2000 by the oenologist Alessandro Cellai, whose sole aim was to create two great wines. The vineyard covers just 3 hectares. Choosing the right land, as well as selecting the best vine clones, were crucial issues for Alessandro. To achieve success, he carefully oversees every stage of production, from the vineyard to the cellar. The original labels of Podere Monastero were created and donated to the House by the famous sculptor Konrad Winzer, a great friend of the estate. The leading critic Robert Parker included the wine La Pineta in the Top 25 Best Wines of Italy.
