Mas Saint-Louis

In the late 20th century, Jean-Louis Jany united family vineyards to establish Domaine Ma San-Loui. The purchase and renovation of the estate in 1909 in the Clou Chatenet-du-Pape area accelerated the region's development, marking the beginning of its winemaking history.Louis Jany, Jean-Louis's grandson, later acquired additional plots—sometimes through exchanges—to create a harmonious vineyard layout. Eventually, the management of the estate was taken over by John, Louis's son, and his wife Monique, who currently oversees Domaine Ma San-Loui, now spanning 30 hectares. At the heart of the estate stands an old house built from a traditional mixture of clay and gravel. The vineyards, surrounded by oaks and pines, gently slope down the Côte de L'Anion to a rural road connecting Avignon with Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
