M.Marcoult

By choosing Champagne M.Marcoult, you entrust your preferences to true winemaking enthusiasts from the Cézanne region, who adhere to environmental responsibility principles and implement innovative approaches in their production. The Marcoult family has been running this Champagne house since 1967, demonstrating exceptional respect for the terroir. For Florence and Julien, the most important qualities in creating the perfect wine are balance and tension, as true Champagne begins with an excellent base wine. The Marcoult spouses are genuine connoisseurs of life, deeply in love with their region. They strive for excellence both in production and daily life, preferring local products. Julien, representing the third generation of the family’s winegrowers, is deeply attached to his native land. Florence, educated in the hospitality industry, has a special flair for gastronomy and wine. The Marcoult family are true enthusiasts who pour their hearts into creating their Champagne wines, eager to share them with fellow connoisseurs like themselves. In their work, they focus on environmental sustainability and take pride in their HVE certification. Being self-sufficient in electricity supply, they constantly explore advanced organic winemaking methods and minimize environmental impact. Wine aging is carried out in barrels made from local oak and acacia wood sourced from the Traction national forest, located just 5 kilometers from the winery. Each barrel is custom-made, considering specific requirements for shape, capacity, and temperature conditions. This process fully reflects the Marcoult family’s expertise and passion for their craft.
