Louis-Benjaman Dagueneau

The estate was founded in 1982 by Didier Dageneau, who provocatively proved to the world through his wines that Sauvignon Blanc is a great variety. He stated: «Healthy grapes planted on an outstanding terroir, combined with proper care and correct ripeness, can produce Great wine that ages beautifully». In 2008, Didier tragically died in a hang gliding accident. Since then, the estate has been run by his son, Louis-Benjamin Dageneau, who, through his dedication and boundless energy, elevates wine to the status of a product of culture and high civilization. The emotion in his wines is deeply hidden, and those who have experienced it understand why they are recognized as some of the best white wines in the world.
