Lointier

Lointier is a family-owned winery founded by Jean-Baptiste and Helene, a young couple working since 2007 on a 3-hectare vineyard in the Marne Valley. Jean-Baptiste holds a WSET Level 3 certification. Together with William Saintot, he studies cooperage techniques and the influence of barrels on wine. He trained at Tonnellerie de Champagne under Jérôme Viara. Until 2016, the family sold all their grapes; since then, they have been producing wines under their own label, approximately 3,000 bottles per year. The vineyards are cultivated biodynamically, with HVE and AB certifications obtained in 2022. Lointier also keeps bees and uses honey to produce their own preparations. Additionally, the honeybee (Apis mellifera) is depicted on all three Lointier wine labels.
