Krug

The history of the House of Krug began in 1843, when the visionary and independent-minded Joseph Krug launched the production of Champagne in the renowned city of Reims. His revolutionary concept was to create exceptional Champagne whose quality remained consistent regardless of the vagaries of nature or the characteristics of a particular vintage. For him, there were no compromises in the pursuit of excellence — every year was meant to produce wine that fully revealed the potential of the terroir. He achieved this ambitious goal through a deep understanding of nature, a careful approach to the vine, and a unique collection of reserve wines of exceptional quality. Today, the family business is continued by the sixth generation of the Krugs, who бережно preserve and enhance the legacy of the founder, creating winemaking masterpieces year after year that are worthy of his name.
