Jessica Litaud

The young winemaker trained under Jean-Marie Guffens and Jean-François Ganevat—two legendary names revered by natural wine enthusiasts. Upon returning to her family estate, Jessica chose to work independently, focusing on just 2.1 hectares. Everything here is organic: mechanical weeding, no chemicals, insecticides, or fungicides. To preserve the berries' integrity, Jessica prefers hand-harvesting into small crates. The clusters are chilled for half a day before pressing. Winemaking proceeds without intervention, save for a minimal dose of sulfur. Aging takes place exclusively in old oak barrels. Jessica works with terroirs in Chaintré (across different climats) and Pouilly-Fuissé (several Premier Crus). For us, it’s a joy to support her from the very beginning and follow her evolution from vintage to vintage. This is work that all lovers of great Chardonnay should discover as soon as possible.
