Henri Giraud

The winemaking philosophy of Henri Giraud originates from the wise words of the founder — the grandfather of the current owner: «Regardless of the wine’s age — whether it’s young, mature, or aged — it should always be excellent. It’s all about balance. When asked about the character of Henri Giraud Champagne, I simply reply: it’s the harmony of pleasure, maturity, and terroir». The creation process begins with careful selection of grapes from the best vineyards in Champagne. Ripe berries are harvested with utmost care to preserve their integrity. This is followed by a cold must settling stage. Production traditions are preserved in every detail. The winery abstains from artificial additives, using only necessary sulfite treatment to protect the beverage and minimal filtration to maintain the wine’s original essence. The unique technology of the Giraud estate lies in its special aging method. Unlike the traditional barrel aging method, they use special tanks equipped with a temperature control system. Twelve months of aging in these conditions allows for the creation of exceptional Champagne that provides genuine pleasure to every connoisseur. The result of this meticulous work is magnificent Champagne that embodies all the principles established by the company’s founder, delighting connoisseurs of fine beverages around the world.
