Sébastien Guénan is the driving force and heart of the winery, personally overseeing all key production processes. His family has been living in the commune of Essoyes, located in the prestigious Côte des Bars region, for 11 generations. The history of their vineyards began with the first hectare planted by Sébastien’s great-grandfather, Paul Guénan. Under the guidance of his grandfather and father, the family estate gradually expanded, and in 1987 they acquired their own grape press. After receiving professional winemaking education in Beaune, Sébastien made the decision to return to his native land. His first independent vintage was released in 2015, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the family winery.
