Domaine Doyard
The Doyard Domaine has its roots in Vertus, in the Cöte des Blancs, where the family has been linked to viticulture since the 17th century. The official foundation dates back to 1927 with Maurice Doyard, who established a rigorous and authentic style aimed at showcasing Chardonnay and the mineral character of the chalky soils. Today, the estate is led by Guillaume Doyard, supported by his father Yannick, who remains active in the business.
The vineyard covers around 10 hectares divided between Vertus Premier Cru and the Grand Crus of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Cramant, Oger, and Aÿ Some vines are over fifty. years old and are farmed using organic methods, manual work, and the use of horses in the vineyards.
