Domaine Heresztyn-Mazzini is the result of a fascinating union between Florence, hailing from Burgundy, and Simon, a representative of Champagne’s winemaking tradition. After a decade of working on a family vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin, the couple decided to pursue their own dream and establish an independent estate. Today, the domain’s holdings encompass 5.5 hectares of vineyards spread across three prestigious villages: Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, and Chambolle-Musigny. Their first harvest of independently produced wine was gathered in 2012, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the history of exquisite Burgundy red wines. Florence and Simon carefully preserve family winemaking traditions while bringing a modern vision and dynamic approach to the process. Deeply rooted in the culture of Côte de Nuits and its unique terroirs, they tirelessly explore and reveal the distinctive characteristics of each plot. The couple pays special attention to ecological balance and respect for the region’s natural resources. Their wines, reflecting the character of various climatic zones of origin, demonstrate exceptional quality and individuality. The winery’s mission is to create beverages of the highest level, where natural gifts and winemaking expertise harmoniously combine, with each bottle telling a unique story of the estate and its terroir.
