Chateau Grand Village
Château Grand Village – owned by Jacques and Sylvie Guinaudeau (proprietors of Château Lafleur) – is located in the Mouillac commune of Fronsac. The estate's finest plots (20 hectares) are planted with vines, while the remaining land (30 hectares) consists of forests, cattle pastures, and grain fields. This charming estate, despite its modest name, produces exceptional wines.
The property also houses the family's vine nursery, where old Cabernet Franc vines (massal selection from Château Lafleur) grow on pristine, biodiverse soils. The same 15-person team responsible for viticulture and winemaking at Château Lafleur oversees operations here. With access to all the resources and expertise of one of Pomerol's elite estates, it's no surprise that Grand Village's wines are truly impressive.
