Bourgoin
Cognac Burgundy is a family estate located in the village of Saint-Saturin in Charente. The family business has been around for nearly 100 years; it began in 1933 when Léon Marcel Burgundy traveled to Cognac for a tasting and fell in love with the daughter of his employer. He then decided to settle in the region and planted Ugni Blanc grapes for cognac production. Frederick, representing the third generation, chose to make significant changes. After many years of selling their cognac to large houses, it was time to develop their own unique style, focusing on terroir and artisanal distillation.
