Baettig

Bettig Winery is a joint project of two talented winemakers: Francisco Bettig and Carlos de Carlos. By combining their extensive experience and professional skills, they create unique wines that vividly express terroir characteristics, individuality, and impeccable quality. Francisco Bettig is rightfully considered one of the most prominent winemakers in Chile. For 18 years, he served as the chief oenologist at Errázuriz, where, together with owner Eduardo Chadwick, he participated in the creation of the legendary wines Seña and Viñedos Chadwick. Over his 25-year career in winemaking, Francisco has repeatedly proven his dedication to the craft, revealing the vast potential of Chilean winemaking. The unique geographical location of Chile provides exceptional opportunities for winemaking due to the variety of climatic zones. About ten years ago, Francisco and Carlos made a discovery when they found amazing terroirs in the Traiguén region — the southernmost and coolest wine-growing area in the country. It is here that special, unparalleled versions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are born, possessing a unique character.
