Sab's Le Rataf Ratafia de Bourgogne 75ml

An intense and complex, yet very clean aroma. It is dominated by notes of candied fruits (apricot, peach) with hints of dried fruit. Notes of tropical fruits (such as mango) are also present, evoking the sunny south. Nuances of lavender and honey — all of this is softened and complemented by spicy notes of ageing (cedar, sandalwood), which give the Ratafia a delicate and refined character. Hints of honey, raisins, roasted almonds, and caramel complete the bouquet, adding richness and complexity. Yet, it is not overloaded with sweetness. The main sensation is great softness without cloying sweetness. The acidity is lively and pleasant, preventing the sweetness from becoming heavy and giving the Ratafia an unexpected and desirable freshness. This allows the wine to remain light and drinkable. A touch of bitterness (amaril) — a barely perceptible yet extremely important bitterish aftertaste, reminiscent of Amaro notes. It adds depth and makes every sip more interesting.
